This little amplifier is actually exactly what I needed for my application. I use it to feed two Definitive Technology AW6500 floorstanding speakers. Pros: Size - This amp is small compared to amps. It's Class D, so small form factor is the name of the game. Power - The power delivered is constant. I have no problem powering my 200 watt speakers as this amp puts out 160 watts per channel. Particularities. The bass and treble controls were a big selling point for me. The ability to control tone sets this amp apart from others. I would suggest using banana plugs to maintain a more reliable connection, especially if you move the amp from time to time. Bluetooth range is poor. Most Bluetooth is reliable within 30-33 feet. When my phone is in my pocket and I move 15-20ft from this amp it can cycle on and off and this is purely a BT connection issue. With Bluetooth 5.0 technology, I'm not sure if an external antenna is required, but it's worth noting that this amplifier doesn't include an external antenna. Speaker. I haven't used it in a home theater setup but I think if your setup is compatible with the connectors on this amp it will work fine. The bluetooth connectivity issue I mentioned can be fixed (which is why this amp still gets a 5 star rating) if you keep the bluetooth connected device nearby, but it's definitely something to be aware of , if you plan to be away from home. .
