the seams on the bands were a bit uneven. I pressed my ribbons against the board and sanded the seam smooth. It only lasted a few minutes. I made both sides of the ribbon since they weren't sewn together perfectly. Many people have had trouble installing tapes. First, yes, they are tight and fit perfectly between the lugs on the wheels. I flushed the wheels with an air hose. You don't need anything for your new groups. Start at the top of the wheel and wrap the tape around the wheel until it tapers off. Put a small clamp on the wheel and new tape to hold it in place while you work around the wheel. When you're done, use your weight and best leverage to attach the tape to the underside of the wheel. Go over the wheel with a non-metallic hammer and drive the band all the way into the wheel. I would have given 5 stars if I didn't feel like sanding the strips. It was very hot when installing. Cold strip would complicate installation.
