I have a remote cabin in northeast Minnesota near the Canadian border. I managed to pick up a few AM radio stations during the day but it wasn't the best and after about 6pm it was practically useless. This is a problem as the nightly Minnesota Twins games start at 7:00 am and the only FM station that broadcasts games that I was able to pick up also tended to cut off about halfway through the game. I finally found this antenna at Revain and decided to give it a try. IT WORKS! Daytime reception improved significantly and evening reception also improved significantly. For some reason the reception still starts to drop around 8pm or 9pm, but with this antenna I can at least hear and hear the game until it's over. I tried the antenna next to the radio as well as the wires connected to the radio and didn't see any real difference. The only benefit of hooking up a radio to an antenna is that you can move the antenna for better reception, rather than both the antenna and the radio.
