The door handle looked cheap and flimsy but after fitting it looked quite nice. It worked fine for two days, and then it started to periodically drift off setting. It kept getting to the point where the handle would turn, but the internal locking mechanism wouldn't engage, so we kept locking ourselves out of the rooms just by closing the doors. It was incredibly embarrassing when the baby started crying and we had to run and grab a drill to get the handle apart before we could reach it. Our experience with this product was incredibly disappointing and we are so glad we decided to try it on a couple of doors before outfitting the whole house. I really wanted this, but we will definitely look at other alternatives.
