I like the carpet and I use it 5 times a week. Lately I've been using lifting pads under the mat to change the contours of my putting. I live in the North East and can at least work on that aspect of my game when it's too cold outside. There are some improvements I would like to make. Suggest getting rid of the middle bowl as I can practice 2 kicks on each of the other holes. Also trim the fringes to no more than 3 inches around the edges of the rug. For serious golfers I would recommend a larger mat if you have the space. I have mine on the finished floor of my heated 2 car garage and due to lack of space I decided against a larger rug: some regret this decision as a larger rug allows you better use of contour pads. I do not recommend anyone to roll it up after use as it takes 2 days to straighten up for use.
