It was perfect for my turtle, it dims easily and the heat is extinguished instantly. There are 2 different size bulbs for each bulb and they are compatible with different bulbs if needed. There were 2 lamps in the package and they have a sturdy clip which I use on the edge of my desk to point it securely towards its bed on the floor. The lights also give him ultraviolet rays which he cannot penetrate during the colder months. The kit also included a thermometer so I have everything I need to keep him warm and healthy. It was a good buy and I would recommend it to my friends.
