Review on πŸ‘• Black T-Shirt Yarn Cotton Fettuccini Zpagetti - Sewing, Knitting, Crochet - 100 Meter by Amy Mcleod

Excellent yarn for masks: ear loops and ribbons

This was a great yarn to use as the ribbons and ear loops for the masks I made. Thank you Fox for helping protect people! The masks I'm making right now (pictures attached) have a yarn sleeve. The previous style required straps to be sewn directly onto the masks. This worked well for both applications. I tried another t-shirt yarn that I ordered from Revain and it didn't work as well on the masks as it felt more like bias tape. Fox has been recommended by many users in one of the mask making FB groups that I am a member of. I constantly recommend using this when they write that they are tired of using an elastic for masks. This is more stretchy and the masks are much more comfortable than elasticated ones. They are more suitable for different head sizes and also stretch after washing. This yarn is washable. You can make ear loops in a variety of ways; The simple method I used was to route it through switches. I prefer to make masks with ties (I make a U-tie through the shrouds) but I have made some ear loops for some of my younger students (I teach preschool special education) as well as for the elderly. have a disability and may have difficulty detaching masks without ear loops. I just tie off the ends of the mask straps. masks! I used to make carpets of fabric from which I cut the strips myself; it is much easier! Take care of yourself!
