This was a great yarn to use as the ribbons and ear loops for the masks I made. Thank you Fox for helping protect people! The masks I'm making right now (pictures attached) have a yarn sleeve. This is more stretchy and the masks are much more comfortable than elasticated ones. They are more suitable for different head sizes and also stretch after washing. This yarn is washable. You can make ear loops in a variety of ways; The simple method I used was to route it through switches. I prefer to make masks with ties (I make a U-tie through the shrouds) but I have made some ear loops for some of my younger students (I teach preschool special education) as well as for the elderly. have a disability and may have difficulty detaching masks without ear loops.
