With normal usage when running LibreELEC to host a Plex server and watch Plex movies, it doesn't get hot. thermal pads, and they were easy enough to place. I used the edge of a knife to gently peel away the plastic so as not to damage the gasket. If they made a case with big aluminum fins on top for better heat dissipation, I would buy it.
