This unit is very powerful! I use it to edge grass around our firepit and stone walls. It projects a very hot flame - watch out as if you are down wind, the heat is intense. My only complaint is that the igniter is "iffy". Make sure you have a spark before turning on the propane. Or, as I now do, use one of those small, butane candle lighters.
