baby size bought. It's badly designed. After a few short rides I am not at all happy with this helmet. The main problem is that the headrest system (a soft strap with a click button) is not securely attached to the helmet. It is held in place by four small Velcro fasteners. The chin strap, on the other hand, is attached to the helmet. Here's my experience: First, I adjusted it properly to my child's head so that the strap and chin strap are snug but not too tight. Then I put my son in a child seat (Burley Dash RM) and buckle him up. As he looks out at the world, any pressure on the back of the helmet (from the seatback side) will cause the back of the helmet to lift and the headband to detach from the helmet. Keep in mind that it's barely held in place by four small Velcro straps. Since the strap is still snug on my son's head, the helmet is now loose and the chin strap doesn't prevent the helmet from tipping forward and fully covering his face. The net effect is that it's extremely uncomfortable, blocks his vision and doesn't protect his head. This happens in just a few minutes by car. On my last 30 minute ride I had to stop, take it off my head, pack it up and put it back on five times and finally gave up and drove straight home. I considered taking it off entirely to put it out of its misery for the rest of the trip. Now I'm buying another helmet because this one
