Suitable for my baby: Cycling

Bought for my 6 month old to ride in a trailer. He fell asleep before my husband left. Edited 4/10/17 to add a photo. So far there are no problems.

A little big but fits

Our son was able to start wearing it at around 3-4 months. According to the pediatrician, his head is larger than average. It's a bit big and annoying, but once attached it won't fall off even if it falls asleep while driving. I know some are concerned that the plastic ring on the helmet's internal strap can easily come loose, but I didn't find that to be the case - I had to pull it out on purpose to get it out. Anyway, when I find out later that the ring keeps coming out, it seems like just…

I ordered this helmet for a 9 month old baby as we are going to an island with lots of cyclists based on great reviews. Babe goes with everything 95% and based on the other reviews I thought this would be perfect for her 18" head. It fits the smallest settings, but the shape of her head clearly doesn't suit this helmet. It fits but as soon as I moved to check the fit it fell on her face. The inside of the helmet has minimal padding so the ring fits snugly, but we needed a bit more inside to…

Nice helmet but needs extra straps

Great helmet for the price. I use this helmet about once a week when I'm running small neighborhood errands and want to ride my bike instead of driving. I put my son on the back of the bike, strap this helmet on and off I go. cute but more importantly this helmet feels pretty solid. The straps and adjusters inside are very easy to adjust, but are almost too simple, which is why I only give it four stars instead of five. My son doesn't really like wearing his helmet and if he pulls and pulls on…

Absolute rubbish Best of Cycling

We bought this for my almost 3 year old. We measured her head, but nowhere did it state how big her head should be. For reference, her head was 19.25 inches, so we should have gotten the size of an infant, not a toddler. Anyway, it was so big that it kept sliding back and forth even when I thought it was tight. He also pinched her under the chin, causing unnecessary tears. Okay, maybe it's my fault I ordered the wrong size. Moving on, I lifted the helmet a little later and the ENTIRE TENSIONER…

Weak head mount, poor design, fell apart after a few minutes of use.

baby size bought. It's badly designed. After a few short rides I am not at all happy with this helmet. The main problem is that the headrest system (a soft strap with a click button) is not securely attached to the helmet. It is held in place by four small Velcro fasteners. The chin strap, on the other hand, is attached to the helmet. Here's my experience: First, I adjusted it properly to my child's head so that the strap and chin strap are snug but not too tight. Then I put my son in a child…

Suitable for 14 months. The old fit-to-dial function works great.

*Update* - Our daughter is almost 4 years old now, has a medium head size and this helmet still fits her. She'll probably appreciate it in the next year or so, but I'm very glad we've been able to use it for 3 years now. Quality is good, no problems with breakage or plastic degradation. *Original post* - Our daughter is 15 months old. old and has a head size in the 70th percentile. This helmet fits her well and she is currently on the small side of the fitting range. I wish I had gotten a tape…

Excellent fit, highly recommend dial-up helmet

To be honest I was frustrated finding a helmet that would fit my 2 year old. I didn't like the helmets you can find in local stores because of the "elastic back" feature. Even with size 1+ the helmet can be easily moved. I was disappointed that the description didn't include an actual size, so here we go. - SIZING ESTIMATION - My daughter is almost 2 years old, her head (circumference) measures almost 19 inches (80th percentile if that helps you with a link). I bet on this helmet as I didn't…
