Review on πŸ”ͺ Norton IM200 Sharpening System: Triple Tool Sharpener by Eugene Cox

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Attention all kitchen knives

I have a variety of knife sharpening tools including Chef's Choice: Electric, Global, Ceramic, Japanese Whetstone and of course several whetstones. I ordered it because I thought I would have to send it back. When it arrived it looked like a set of whetstones in a twisting plastic case. I left it for a day and then tried it pessimistically. I poured some oil into the tray thinking it would use up all the oil I had so I just oiled each of the stones while using them. I've used all three stones on the Wusthoff, Viking, and Global Japanese Knife. When I finished the process, there was no mess like with a whetstone. The results were the same for all three knives tested. The final test was that all three cut through the paper like butter. Each knife took 15 to 20 minutes of work. Very little is removed. I really like this simple rotating stone system. I make all knives with ground steel or ground ceramic. I cannot disagree with the results. These are my sharpest knives in years. You might think it's expensive, but it's a reasonable price for what you get. I will update the information after doing a comparison with the DMT diamond stones I have. 100% recommend this product.
