Cheap batteries look good when you open them. And this is where the good ends. When used with a Dewalt drill and no charger, they produce about half the power (rpm/torque) of a real Dewalt battery. When the OEM battery reaches this point, you know it's time to charge it. But if you can manage to drill forward an eighth of an inch until the drill stops, then reverse and then repeat a dozen times to go 2x4, then this battery is for you. It doesn't die instantly, but puts out very little current compared to an OEM battery. I will return them and spend a lot of money on a Dewalt battery.
