Serious Problem - Design Error

Application: 94 Accord EX Coupe, Top Link, Passenger. I have purchased other Dorman products in the past and they have been fine (disc brake mount, disc brake guide pins etc) - this is the first Dorman lever I have purchased. The problem is that the ball joint stud where the castle nut cotter pin is drilled is in the wrong place or the ball joint stud is too long. When I hand torqued the castle nut, the castle nut was completely out of the hole where the cotter pin would go. I suppose I could use a washer under the castle nut to slide the castle nut down over the ball joint stud, but I don't think that's wise with suspension components. I bought a different brand upper arm and it fits perfectly. Often you get what you pay for - this Dorman product was $30, I bought a competitor with a good reputation in the industry for $80. Based on this experience, I would not purchase any other Dorman product.
