Works much better than the mic that came with my stereo
I had to try a different mic after installing a new stereo in my car. A factory mic will not work with an aftermarket head unit like many cars probably do. I was disappointed with the sound quality from the included microphone and many people said they could barely hear me on calls. This one is way better and I'm glad it had enough cords to route it to the back of my device without showing any wires. I installed it in the same place as the factory mic and it works much better.
