I installed this in my jeep connected to an android head unit. It picks up my voice very well, even with a lot of background noise.

Installed on e46 and the sound quality is amazing. The person on the other end hears nothing but my voice. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. No echo, no booming street noise, no hissing, nothing.

I like that this mic is more discreet than most stereo mics. I placed mine on the windshield behind the rearview mirror, as close to the ceiling as possible. It is almost invisible and does a good job of picking up wind noise from the windows. The sound quality is pretty good too.

I attached the microphone to the steering column near the exit from the dash with very strong double sided tape. It's barely noticeable, doesn't obscure the dashboard, and delivers decent sound quality. In my case, the microphone is definitely worth the price paid.

I had to try a different mic after installing a new stereo in my car. A factory mic will not work with an aftermarket head unit like many cars probably do. I was disappointed with the sound quality from the included microphone and many people said they could barely hear me on calls. Most car radios come with a microphone that attaches to the sun visor.
