Gliders refuse to eat it

It has a strong odor so I notice it all the time. I was willing to ignore it if my girls liked it but they don't like it. They are 2.5 years old and have been fed fresh fruit and veg all their lives so I'm not surprised they don't like this dry solid food. I have to leave them at home for a few days while I go on a short trip as I can't take them with me as usual and thought this would be a good substitute as I can't skip fresh groceries for now. so many days without ruin. I mixed this with dried mealworms, dried fruit, and sunflower seeds to give them a change to chew on while I'm away and wanted to test it out before leaving. Unfortunately, they ate everything but those pellets. I don't want to preach, but if you have exotic animals like sugar gliders, be prepared to feed them properly. Their teeth aren't made for biting or chewing solid food, and no amount of morsels will give them the balanced nutrition they need. They really need fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts every day as chewing hard bits damages their teeth and gums. If you can get your glider to eat it, please only use it as a temporary filler when fresh food isn't available, like in my case when you're out of town and can't take it with you.
