Review on Circular saw DeWALT DWE575K, 1600 W yellow by Micha Sawecki ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

The saw is manual, so you can ignore the shortcomings - they are insignificant. Very good saw, I use it for about a month. I chose first on the Internet, and then I came to the store and chose already by the way it lies in my hand. I wanted to meet the 7 thousand, but I had to pay more because, as soon as I picked it up, I immediately fell in love. Compared to other classmates, it is much easier, the plus was the case and an unconditional guarantee for a year, well, a return within 30 days without explanation, although the latter is not advertised. I really liked the fixed angles, when the platform is tilted, it stops with a click at two marks of 22.5 and 45 degrees, but as it turned out, 45 degrees is not true, I did not find the scale adjustments. It is possible to fine-tune only the right angle, although the right angle is flawless. The depth setting on the scale is not accurate, the marks can only be set approximately, marks every 5 mm. The backlash of the sole is only in depth, and I think this is acceptable. it is about 1 mm in the place of the hinge on the edge of the sole, i. E. there will not be even half in the middle, and even that one will get out under the weight of the saw. By the way, I managed to cut it accurately enough in depth, but I set the depth with a square ruler. The cord is probably reinforced with a cable, there is a mark on the saw about this, the instructions also indicate what can be worn by the cord. Sawing is just a fairy tale, the saw seems to meet no resistance. Sawdust throws strictly back, through a special hole. If you need to connect a vacuum cleaner, then the adapter is screwed on with two screws, but with it the saw does not fit into the case, i. E. you have to unscrew it every time. In general, the saw turned out to be very convenient and compact, I am very happy with my choice, I was a little upset by the 45-degree angle, perhaps the reason is that I dropped the saw twice on concrete from a meter and each time the blow fell on the sole.

Pros
  • - Lightweight - quiet - well balanced - large cutting depth - excellent thin disc for wood with nails - cutting angle up to 57 degrees, good scale and fixed stops at angles of 22.5, 45, 57 degrees. - comfortable handle - easy adjustment of the angle and depth of cut - does not scatter sawdust when connecting a vacuum cleaner - handy case with space for additional disks - a long, thick, but soft cord in a rubber braid, you can carry a saw by the cord
Cons
  • - millimeter backlash on the sole in depth - backlash parallel stop - inconvenient vacuum cleaner adapter (it must be removed before packing the saw in a case) - washed down at a fixed angle of 45 degrees, did not give those, the scale is lying by 2 degrees :(
