I used these brackets to mount an old (Frigidaire) dishwasher to kitchen cabinets after installing granite worktops. The Frigidaire dishwasher was an older model and as such was not adapted or designed to be used with a side mount. The dishwasher had brackets welded to the top of an aluminum strap that held the dishwasher's plastic body to the dishwasher's metal door frame. But I couldn't use these staples because you can't screw granite in without damaging it. But the aluminum strip also bypasses the dishwasher on the outside. There was absolutely no place to "hook" the bracket (you also couldn't screw into the aluminum band because you could puncture the dishwasher's plastic body, causing leaks and damaging your dishwasher). So I bought these staples and JB Weld 8265S, Original Steel Reinforced Cold Weld Epoxy - 2 oz. I mixed up the epoxy and applied an appropriate amount to the aluminum tape detailed above. I then sealed these brackets with epoxy and used blue painters tape to secure the brackets in place. I allowed the epoxy to fully dry (15-24 hours) and then checked. RELIABLE STOP. Just like a steel weld. I slid the dishwasher back into the cabinet and attached it to the cabinet base with 1/2" wood screws. The other side was next to the drywall, so I used 4" screws, found a stud nearby, and screwed the bracket directly on the bolts. The mountain is now rock solid. The dishwasher doesn't move at all.
