I have 2 GoPro sessions and was looking for small tripods to set up so I can record tennis lessons with my daughter. They worked great with the GoPro adapter that was already included so I didn't have to. Purchase a separate GoPro Mount Adapter. For one purchase, I can use the tripod for regular threaded cameras, mobile devices like iPhones or Android phones, and GoPros. Individually, each of these two included accessories would cost more than half the cost of a tripod. This is a great stable tripod for a small camera. Not intended for full-frame, full-size DSLRs with large, heavy lenses. A mirrorless camera with a kit lens would probably do, but the dimensions are really designed for small non-interchangeable lens cameras, phones and PERFECTLY for a GoPro. I've already shot a few videos with a GoPro mounted on a tripod next to the mesh. With its small size and virtually indestructible GoPro cameras, it's a great combination to mount at the base of the net or under the ring for shooting from below, or for shooting any outdoor sport where you shoot want to do from the ground.
