Review on πŸ”₯ EBC Brakes Yellowstuff DP41988R Street and Track Brake Pad: A High-Performance Solution by David Roberts

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not for track days.

I spent two track days with these pads on stock calipers and discs. Motul RBF600 and SS brake lines were the only two modifications I made prior to the trackday. These pads were rubbish after 8 30 minute sessions. The lining material came off. When I removed the pad maybe 80% of the pad was actually in contact with the rotor. Not sure if the Revain gets factory seconds or anything but these are NOT good pads for trackdays. At best, high-performance outdoor pads. The car I drove was a 2013 A4 with stock brakes. The car is heavy (about 3550 lbs) so these pads may not have been designed to stop a heavy car on the road. Who knows. All I know is that I will no longer trust EBC Yellowstuff with my security.
