Review on 🎿 Retrospec Traverse H1: Ultimate Convertible Ski & Snowboard/Bike & Helmet Combo by Adam Gambel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

mostly great product; needed another cap; Don't expect a slim package

Great value. A great helmet too. Every time I land I get some compliments, mainly because of the bamboo. Ear pockets available. Add some speakers and rock out. The only real downside was that the headphones don't fit as snugly as other helmets. I've worn helmets that are tight enough that I don't need a hat. But I still needed this. So it's not ideal. But it's all good because the last time I was in Mammoth it was a snowstorm that covered half the mountain and most people went home. weaklings. I was warm and crashed into jams during the epic powder snow. This is by no means a low-profile case. So if you have a big head (literally), you might want to reconsider your decision. I wear big ones and it definitely shows. I also wear huge hats. But here's the thing: I really don't care, and no one around me has commented on the size. See the two photos I've included. The group photo shows that the size of the shell is quite large. But otherwise it looks perfect. Also, I look cool. It's all optics, brother. If you are obsessed with a small shell, you should definitely buy Bern. But then you'd have to pay twice as much and look just like everyone else on the hill.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
