I had to buy this gas cap to prevent both siphon theft (bad neighborhood) and sabotage (crazy ex-threat). So far this has worked well. The key is a little harder to get into the lock in winter when the temperatures drop, but holding your palm over it for a few seconds to melt the ice on the outside works well. No "Check Engine" lights or anything have come on so far, so all great!
