The width of this circle is as shown. It should be noted that due to the fact that the bristles of a wire brush are not quite vertical, but protrude slightly outwards, you have to expect more width. Approximately 1 3/8" wide at the outside diameter of the shaft. Take the time to check if there is room for your grinder before purchasing as I was too lazy to get up and do so before ordering. This product seems too wide for a 6" center grinder from Harbor Freight. Enough to stop the engine all together. It's my fault, I should have taken my measurements. Otherwise the wheel looks good enough and didn't have any protruding bristles or anything like that. The wide width of this wheel caught my eye and I figured it would get rid of the rust quickly. I suspect it might be up to the task if it matches your coffee grinder. The mounting hole is sized for a 5/8" mandrel but includes plastic washers to accommodate the smaller 1/2" mandrel. It's hard to say much without ever using it, but it seems like the wheel should work just fine if you have the space for it. Just check beforehand.
