Bought this bag because we needed extra storage space on vacation. My car doesn't have a roof rack so I was happy to see that this bag had enough straps to fully wrap the bag and put it in the car. The bag has external D-rings that the straps pass through so you know you're getting a secure fit. The zippers are very strong and the fact that they go all the way to the back on both sides makes loading the bag very easy. We didn't get caught in the rain with the bag, but there's a nice windproof flap that fully covers the zips and also has a velcro closure for extra protection. Also this bag remained nice and reliable for our trip. We drove for 2 hours at over 70 km/h and the bag didn't move at all. Be aware that having this pocket on your roof will create additional wind noise, and if you wear a seat belt in your car you will most likely move the door seals, which can also create additional noise. All in all, I highly recommend this bag.
