This is an unconventional use of a barricade, but I'm SO glad I went with it over the flimsy nets meant for driveway security. We live on a 4 lane road and I wanted to make our driveway a safe place for our little one to ride his tricycle. I have friends who have had weak driveway nets, but all the reviews on Amazon mentioned sagging in wider driveways. Our driveway is 18 feet wide and the 16 foot barricade was the perfect size. The box was definitely damaged in shipping, but it was carefully packaged and all parts were intact. The wheels are really high quality - they lock and unlock easily, but really stay in place when locked. I love how easy it is to slide the barricade when it's locked in the closed position - I can slide and operate it with one hand. Once I move it to the end of our driveway, it takes me less than 30 seconds to deploy and lock the casters. When extended, the lower wishbones slide slightly upwards. It comes with mounting hardware for wall or pole mounting, which comes in handy when you need it.
