They look like a strong pipe
Bought by mistake. Wrong year so they are for the M56 engine and slightly larger than the M54. In any case, they appear to be high quality intake manifolds. Personally, I would clean them with rubber polish prior to installation, but it's not necessary. If they were the right replacement part I would trust them to last longer than you probably own a car.
