I was considering buying a range of TPMS scanner/programmers but the TS501 turned out to be the right choice. On one of our cars I had to program the TPMS sensors in the wheels of the car - after updating the firmware I had no problem programming them. All you have to do is scan each sensor, connect the TS501 to the OBD-II port and pass the IDs of the new sensors to the vehicle. In our other car, our "TPMS" warning light came on - I found that one of the four sensors had a dead battery. The TS501 shows you the sensor ID, internal temperature, battery level and pressure (in psi) for each wheel.
