Requires one star, otherwise zero. foam sucks. I treated it like fine china and the shards flew everywhere. If you look at the photos it will not "seal" in any way. My wife said just use a rubber band. It's not such a bad idea, except that foam is so junk it's just going to break. Tovolo wanted a ruse to steal a few more dollars but this system is complete rubbish and you will feel like you have been robbed. If you look at my photos, I methodically assembled this thing. I made sure each green ball was installed and aligned correctly. Again, with the delicacy of a surgeon, I tried to gently apply the foam. Shards flew everywhere. If you were to apply any force this stuff would deform badly and I can only imagine how fragile it would be once it came out of the feeder. I know this is going to be a crappy product but for a follow up post I placed this POS in my freezer on the top shelf. Look, I get it, you can spend $1,000 and get that clean ball that we all want. But if you go to the Tovolos website and watch their YouTube, suffice it for me to say ok I'll give these guys a try. Don't repeat the same mistake. It's just a step away from the 1-800 store's advertisement/product.
