Review on IceToolz Tool SHIM Cartridge Wrench by David Ramirez

Update: I recently attempted to replace a bottom bracket on an improperly prepared frame - the bottom bracket stuck to the body. I was able to fit the SAE washer so that the bolt and bottom bracket washer hold the tool to the spindle. I filled the threads with penetrating grease and clamped the bottom bracket tool in a vise. I used a frame to stop the corrosion. This tool saved the frame from a pile of junk - 5 stars! Original: Some Octalink/ISIS bottom bracket spindles are too long for older bottom bracket tools like the Park BBT-2 (which I have). This hollow tool slides over all known spindle lengths. As I only occasionally work with Octalink/ISIS cranks (they went the way of the dinosaurs circa 2004) this tool was a cost effective solution to the BBT-2's shortcoming. If you're a professional mechanic (and I'm not), I'd recommend spending more on a redesigned Park BBT-22 or equivalent Pedros, especially since the price has come down. This IceToolz wrench outperforms the similar Park BBT-32C.
