The cable was the perfect length and worked very well once installed. The installation process is a different story. There are three brackets that hold the cord in place so it doesn't dangle or dangle. Each of these brackets has a tab that fits into a fixed hole in the vehicle frame to help hold the brackets in place. The tab on Dorman's cable mounts was in the wrong place. As a result, I had to bend them aside and secure them with bolts. As a result, one bracket didn't fit like a glove. So I basically had to push it in just enough for the bolt to snap, and tightening the bolt did the rest. Once installed, the cable now works as intended.
