Made a round jig for a plunge router and used one of these bits to cut two small 22.5" countertops out of 3/4" thick Baltic Birch. I cut them in three passes and had no problems. sliced like butter. I bought an extra bit because I was afraid one of those carbide-only bits would break, but that wasn't a problem for me. This is the first time I've used a round jig. I am very happy with the sharpness and the cut quality which was perfect. It seemed to remove enough of the sawdust and had almost no chipping on the underside of the boards. There is nothing above that lends itself to drilling down. A few seconds with the grinder and they're ready for the next step.
