I bought this product to fit my new 2019 Toyota 4 Runner. I made 2 mixes in separate bottles using rubbing alcohol to clean the area and a soap mix to apply. The alcohol mixture consisted of 2 ounces of rubbing alcohol and 6 ounces of water. The soap mix consisted of 8 ounces of water and 2-3 drops of baby shampoo. I rubbed the area behind the door handles with an alcohol mixture and wiped it off with a soft cloth. I then lightly sprayed the area with the soapy mixture, sprayed with my fingers and then peeled the adhesive from the paper and sprayed onto the side to be attached. I leveled the glue where I wanted and gently squeezed the bubbles out to the nearest edge of the glue. It will be slippery so be patient. Once the bubbles are gone, gently wipe dry with a soft cloth and remove any remaining small bubbles. I didn't like the way one of them was located, so I removed it and started the process again. I've found that they can be adjusted if they haven't been installed for a long time. My car is white so it's hard to see the sticker on the pictures. Next time I will be installing a different kit on my husband's brand new black 2019 Honda Accord. I hope they last a long time and protect the paint behind our doorknobs from scratches from nails and rings. It is recommended not to wash the car for at least 24 hours to allow the glue to stick well.
