The first one I ordered had a damaged paintwork so I contacted the seller and they sent a replacement after I sent proof. They were very quick and efficient. The case itself is very cute with a soft matte texture. Warning, this only applies to people who do not connect their switches to a docking station. Although the case is thin, it doesn't fit in the docking station. This suits me as I only play with my hands. The thickness is enough for the top of the keys to be slightly higher than the case. Joystick pads are very easy to put on and a little more difficult to take off. But it protects well. I accidentally threw my joystick across the room when someone startled me and it works great, no scratches on the lid. It's totally solid, totally opaque.
