I had cheap fans on ebay that I figured might keep the car cool. I was wrong, the car overheated.
I have a '66 Chevelle with a 383 stroker, an aluminum heatsink and two 12" fans. I had cheap fans on ebay that I figured might keep the car cool. Weather in California. I bought them, they look like they are from Spal. Now my car goes from 210 degrees to 190 degrees when the fans turn on in a minute. I am satisfied that they are not noisy.
