Review on 🍳 Enhance Your Culinary Experience with the Vasconia 4-Cup Granite Molcajete Mortar and Pestle by Chris Castro

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Takes the job but it's a gem!

As others have said this Molcajete has not been conditioned. I conditioned my rice by grinding dry rice into a powder as best I could, handfuls at a time. Afraid that sand would get into the product, I ate 8 handfuls of rice. A handful at a time. In total, it took me about 5.5-6 hours over 2 days. Could this be done with a wire brush or with my angle grinder or an easier way? I'm sure but I was stupid and didn't think about it until I was done. Anyway, I use it (mostly) to make Garlic Parsley Oil for various recipes and for any work beyond my little mortal and pestle. I really love it!
