Beginner friendly on my review.

The jump rope came in a plastic bag with a separate black bag for daily storage , it also has a detailed instruction card that explains the best way to adjust the rope to suit you. I found it very easy to do with just a quick glance at the instructions , the rope serves its intended purpose and is good for someone looking to incorporate something different into their workouts
