Definitely get what you pay for. The one I received needed some serious deburring to make it slide. The groove on the ruler was not cleaned before the satin chrome was applied, so you'll need to remove that inner groove if you want it to slide properly. Not upset and sharp enough on all edges of the base to cut. The slot in the base is rather inferior. not a square cut so the blade sits a bit wobbly and it looks like they ran the rip saw off center a few times before deciding it was "centered" so there are big gouges. It should probably cost $10 for what you get. It's pretty square one way after playing with it for half an hour lol
