We put this mat on the inside of our front door to dry our feet, take off our shoes and even dry our dog feet after a walk. I was very happy with this product, washed it (which held up great after washing) and was happy to finally have a GOOD rug on my doorstep. I immediately noticed how absorbent, soft and plush he is and apparently our dog does too. She spends most of the day on it and sleeps on it at night. it got to the point where I had to move it to where SHE wanted it. and now I have no carpet in front of the door. so I'm ordering a second one now. Highly recommended. both for its intended purpose and as an obvious dog bed.
