has passed about a week, and so far it is Z winner. Dogs love this and it seems to minimize the amount of dirt and paws. It's not 100% because my dogs are large and two feet from the carpet. Just shake the outside and you're done. I haven't washed it yet. The update literally wanted to buy another one after 2 weeks but the price went up almost $10, this is the same rug as 2 weeks ago! Bought for our pup to sit while we wipe his paws. We've had a lot of rain this year and since he learned to potty he's been pacing all day. He's learned to sit on the carpet as soon as he comes in and the carpet helps absorb the water he brings and then we wipe him down. The pile is dense, so we toss treats on the carpet (a reward for him potty-training), and while he's looking for it, it's easier to wipe off!

I need a large mat for winter in the midwest with two dogs. I ordered 60 x 36, the perfect size. There is enough room for two dogs to dry your legs and for us to kick off your boots and have enough room to step on the dry part of the carpet and not get your socks wet! I didn't pay attention to the fact that this rug was meant to stay in place. It was the best stroke of luck ever. Our other smaller rugs kept sliding across the floor and the dogs ran happily towards the door.

Bought some for use in the front doors, washed, reused and am very satisfied. So I bought more to take my dogs on the road along the snow and ice of Michigan. We wash the carpets once a week according to the instructions. The rubber started cracking and falling after a few months. We've had them for a year now and this is how they look now. Just be warned. If you wash them regularly, they won't stay up well. I contacted them about their warranty which said they would replace the mats. I got my money back. We put this mat on the inside of our front door to dry our feet, take off our shoes and even dry our dog feet after a walk.
