Review on KEEN Knotch Closed Sandal Peacock by Steve Atchley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Impressive shoes. Much better than previous relatives I've tried

We had about 20 pairs of Keen shoes for our kids when they were growing up. The only thing that hasn't changed is the durability and quality. They have always been well made and last forever. They used to be heavier. Surprisingly, I've always believed that weight is worth durability. Now they changed the materials and their shoes are much lighter. They did it without losing strength. Durability depends on the material as well as the design and construction of the shoe. The rubber outsole flexes and extends well up the sides and top of the shoe. They will never break up and never break up. You also get better toe protection. The velcro used is excellent. It doesn't wear out like cheaper shoes. As with all other Keen running shoes, the outsole is non-slip. They make good water shoes. The fit also corresponds to your ideas. Easy 5 stars and the fact that my son always wears them due to the abundance of shoes to choose from tells me a lot. I haven't liked every Keen shoe I've tried, but this one is a clear winner.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction withstands heavy use
Cons
  • Not recommended for people with flat feet
