I prefer sharper needles. The 4mm and 5mm sizes are a bit round for me, so I will use other needles. The smaller the size, the better the tip as they are already thin. I love that these sets offer the sizing nuances in smaller needles. Something not easy to find in famous brands. These work fine for me. Changing the needle size by 0.25mm can help me get the right gauge and get my knitting result. I bought the needle size from my local thread store and put the size in millimeters on the needle insert page for convenience.
