Bargain with restrictions

This CD tower was a bargain for me. I see that some reviewers have complained about the assembly. The ad said "No TOOLS assembly required" and it was true. But it took a little MANUAL assembly. It wasn't a mental test, but as other reviewers have pointed out, getting certain parts into the right slots was difficult. I used WD-40 to help me with this and it only took a few minutes. When everything is assembled it has a pretty solid base to stand on its own if you don't plan on wall mounting it. The metal it's made of is solid and durable, not flimsy at all. The tower takes up very little space as you can see in the photo I took in my library. There are small handles on the top in case you want to move it. This is important because once you load it up with CDs, it gets pretty heavy. It has about 6 double size CD packs containing 2 or 3 discs in a hard plastic case. The remaining slots each take a CD case. And I like it: modern, sleek, like a futuristic skyscraper. I would like to add a word of caution based on the experience I have had. After inserting CDs, do not tilt it forward, otherwise they will all fall out. Otherwise I think it's a good deal. like a futuristic skyscraper.
