Works great! I live in a duplex with electrical issues that require tracing the wires in the wall. This article has been a boon to the fact that I can trace the cords through my wall from outlet to outlet, at least until they go back under the house. When he stops reading mid-wall, I mark with a cross and my husband cuts through the drywall to find our problem! It's also great for finding rivets for hanging pictures and shelves! The auto shut off feature to save battery is a plus because I always forget to turn off items. Others have complained about having to recalibrate every time they get off the wall, but it takes literally seconds, so I didn't find it a problem. I don't usually like tools, but I like this one.
