The 3 level light intensity or brightness is a nice feature. It allows you the extra illumination when you need it, like on the river at night or to conserve battery Rey power when the extra lighting is not necessary. Batteries life seems typical for type and size battery. The main issue is the charging port on the flash light does not work. The batteries must be remove and charged in the provided charger. This limits usage, as I don’t carry the charger with me. It would be great if the the charging port on the light worked, then remote charging, like in my truck or on my boat would be possible and convenient while extending my usage time. Therefore the overall rating is 3 stars. Due to inconvenience and reduced usage caused by removing the batteries for charging.
