Absolutely terrible. Ruined my thermos.
This item was fine after first use, the smell was a bit overpowering but bearable. After the second use, the smell became unbearable, it smelled like the whole kitchen. Also, it ruined my thermos (which can be put in the washing machine). This left a permanent soapy smell/layer. I've tried washing it in the sink 3 times and it hasn't gone away. As a result, I had to throw it away and buy a new thermos. So basically I spent the money on this product and bought a new thermos.
