This is my first one star review. Gently wipe the mirror with alcohol, firmly insert the strip and hook. I waited a few hours to hang the Christmas wreath. I installed it and it looked great. I was happy with the accommodation. Less than 3 minutes later I hear a cracking sound. Mark Roberts' new fairy had been removed from the cloak, the wreath lying on the floor. Thank god the mercury glass trees didn't hit. I was frustrated but I stuck a few dabs of Tiger Bond onto the tape, reattached the hook securely and waited 24 hours before hanging. Less than 3 minutes later the flight took off. This time he tore off part of the wreath. Not a cheap wreath either. The seasonal wreaths on this mirror will be permanent, so this time I used gel super glue. I'm currently waiting another 24 hours before trying again. I had to make a robe but I can't. It has a lot of mercury glass and other blown glass decorations. I CAREFULLY read and followed all instructions after reading several reviews. Team hooks used to be great! I have tiny ones on the wall just to tie the 18ft formal garland at the entrance to the formal living room. They have been there for many years. They're so big and crisp you can't see them, so I just taped them over as I painted. They worked fantastic! I'm so tired of someone making a quality, useful product only to turn it horrible after millions of pieces have been sold. Be careful if you don't want to destroy something by crashing on the ground. I remove the big ones. To save hundreds of dollars worth of crystal and glass jewelry and silk from destruction, I'm using real equipment this year. I can't do this on a mirror, I just hope the superglue doesn't seep through the command bar if I ever decide to take the wreaths off because I love that mirror. So disappointed.
