I used this hook upside down on an interior door to hang a wreath on the outside with ribbon (see photo) What I like: The hook is easy to hang (instructions are so clear, mine Kids could use it) ) It's holding up well (successfully kept the wreath outside under multiple rains for two weeks) Clear as my glass door so it doesn't stand out too much. Haven't tried shooting but have used 3M hooks for years with no damage and I hope the experience is the same with this one

I applied as directed and the decorative door hanger (which weighs just under 3 pounds) didn't even last 12 hours. It fell and was damaged on the back of the bottom of the hanger. I'm just glad it wasn't more damaged as it was a new hanger we just bought. I've since tried another type of wreath hanger, which didn't work either, but at least had enough integrity to slide down instead of breaking. giggle

I have two large bay windows and wanted to hang simple green wreaths with red bows on them. I washed the windows with alcohol according to the instructions, applied the tape to the windows with pressure. The next day I put the hook on the tape with pressure. I bought two hooks with two pieces of tape each. My item weighed less than 4 pounds. I tried hanging it on my bedroom window. During the night the hook succumbed. Next time I tried 2 hooks (so I used 3 out of 4 glue). It was a double duty and I followed all the instructions to the letter. I really wanted them to work. 3m adhesive needs to be reformulated as these hangers only lasted 2 days before falling off and nothing was hanging. I followed the directions completely and, with low humidity and a constant temperature of around 75 degrees, I installed the hooks on two types of surfaces: the glass window and the finished/painted wall. This is my first one star review. Gently wipe the mirror with alcohol, firmly insert the strip and hook. I waited a few hours to hang the Christmas wreath. I installed it and it looked great.
