Review on DB Link RTG0 Gold Ring Terminal: Efficient Wire Connection with Enhanced Conductivity by Paul Sanchez

I used them to connect a car stereo amplifier. I went a little overboard with the wiring in case I decide to upgrade any components. I used this with 2 gauge wire. No adapter needs to be used. The set screw holds the wire in place very securely. On the other hand, they are nicely finished and hold the end of the cable very well with a hex screw. For use on the positive terminal of my battery, it fits well and looks better than the original equipment. On the other hand, finding a good ground point was a bit of a hassle. It would be better to use a ring washer, a compression connector, than this monster for grounding. Also, because the end of the ring isn't flush with the ground, I had to use multiple washers to connect it. Not suitable for this basic application.
