Terrible smell, sticky mess

I was very optimistic about this product given the many positive reviews it has received in addition to its use by restorers and conditioners. I received the product and immediately got to work on my relatively clear skin of a 2007 Volvo S60. I wrapped my seat belts in plastic first to avoid contamination from anti-aging oil. I spent about 4 hours scrambling around and manually rubbing the rejuvenating oil into every leather part/panel on the car. The smell of this product is GREAT. It smells like rancid cooking oil and cheap hot dog buns. It literally attracted flies like I did in my garage with the doors open. My car has never smelled. Despite the stench, I went ahead and hoped for the best. In total I used about 4 ounces of rejuvenating oil for the entire machine. I waited 24 hours and left the car in the sun as stated on the Leatherique website. When I came back I noticed some spots where the oil had penetrated more than others. . Although the smell was even worse. No joke, but so bad that I would probably refuse to get in the car if it was, say, someone else's car. I filled a spray bottle with cleaner and sprayed thoroughly onto each leather surface before wiping down with a microfiber cloth. After polishing with another dry microfiber. The odor/oil film was so strong that I probably went through 10 microfiber cloths during the cleaning process. After all that and a whole bottle of cleanser, the smell lingered on the surface of the skin. The absolute WORST part of this experience was the sticky/sticky feeling the rejuvenating oil left on the seats. Original cleanliness could not completely eliminate this feeling after repeated rubbing. The stickiness combined with the smell made the leather very uncomfortable to sit on. In desperation, I tried using a steam cleaner in combination with leftover detergent to get the smell/stickiness out. It did not work. Then I got really desperate and tried using outdoor soap from the Chemical Company guys and a bucket of hot water. It also did little. When I sat on the seat, the smell seeped into my clothes. It was just awful. Next time I will use rubbing alcohol. Here's what I came up with. I spent about 9 hours of personal time on this product hoping it would be great. Instead, I got a horribly smelly, gooey mess.
